Rector’s Awards for 2021, including “Gold Cuckoo” ("Złota Kukułka")
Dear Sirs/Madams,
The “Rector’s Awards” (“Nagrody Rektora”) programme is now at your disposal. Applications for awards should be submitted in electronic form only.
Please, read the new Rules and Regulations of the Rector’s Awards of the Medical University of Warsaw implemented by Ordinance No. 63/2022 of the MUW’s Rector of 1 March 2022.
Note! The Rules and Regulations refer both to the awards for scientific publications and for best cited papers, i.e. “Gold Cuckoo” ("Złota Kukułka"). Since this year, the applications for awarding the “Gold Cuckoo” are submitted according to the same deadline as the applications for the award for scientific publication.
Moreover, the Rules and Regulations introduce changes regarding, among other aspects, the method of submitting applications. Thanks to that, the application process will be faster and easier – the programme eliminates the most common applicants’ mistakes.
As far as scientific awards are concerned, it suggests for which publications the employee may apply for award – it is enough to indicate and specify the percentage contribution of co-authors – just as in the previous years, but electronically.
Access to the programme:
- Employees whose computers are connected to MUW internal network should use the address https://nagrodyrektora.wum.edu.pl
- Access to the system from outside the MUW network is possible only through the website https://ssl.wum.edu.pl in the bookmark “Rector’s Awards” (“Nagrody Rektora”).
If in the SSL system the link “Rector’s Awards” (“Nagrody Rektora”) is not displayed, then it should be reported to ati-net@wum.edu.pl in order that suitable authorisations are given.
Instructions to the programme were prepared in the form of short instructional videos on how to apply for specific types of awards:
