Self-homing to integrin receptors "thermally-reactive" multifunctional magnetic nanoparticles encapsulated in several layers of graphene in molecular MR imaging of anti-cancer therapy based on personalized "real-time" nanomedicine

Project Title
Samo-naprowadzające na receptory integrynowe „termicznie-reaktywne” wielofunkcyjne nanocząstki magnetyczne enkapsułowane w kilku warstwach grafenu w molekularnym obrazowaniu MR przeciwnowotworowej terapii opartej na personalizowanej nanomedycynie „czasu rzeczywistego".

Project Objective

The main goal of the project is to develop an innovative (on a worldwide scale) hybrid nano (bio) platform with magnetic properties, which will be used in a novel radiation therapy strategy for small cell lung cancer (preclinical models). The proposed approach in the field of molecular magnetic resonance diagnostics (mMRI) and lung cancer radiotherapy using multifunctional nanomaterials and X-rays, may significantly contribute to increasing the effectiveness of other forms of radiotherapy using ionizing radiation. The project uses strategic regulatory solutions for the safety of the use of nano (bio) multifunctional materials in both preclinical and clinical phases.
