Virtual Research Institute - open call for proposals

The Łukasiewicz Research Network – PORT Polish Center for Technology Development as the Managing Entity for the Virtual Research Institute Programme has announced an open call for proposals to select Research Teams conducting scientific activities in the form of the Virtual Research Institute in the field of medical biotechnology – oncology.

Examples of research topics in the area of medical biotechnology – oncology may regard:
• precision oncology, including new immuno-oncological treatments;
• preventing cancer relapse by identifying the underlying mechanisms and developing
appropriate interventions;
• diagnostics – producing selective, specific and cost-effective markers for the early
detection of cancer;
• explaining the key mechanisms and processes contributing to cancer development;
• other therapeutically and socially significant topics in the area of medical
biotechnology – oncology

Schedule of proposal submission at the Medical University of Warsaw:
By 30 June 2022 - sending  the information about the intention to prepare an application with the composition of the Research Teams to the address of the MUW Project Support Department (AWN) awn@wum.edu.pl .

If the application is filed in a consortium, the consortium composition should be specified.

              By 1 August 2022 – sending completed draft version of the application with appendices to be verified by Project Support Department (AWN) to the address awn@wum.edu.pl  

             `For applications where MUW is a Consortium member, parts concerning MUW should be sent
